Gundam Interest? Part2

My confidence on building Gunpla was crumbled when i bought this bootleg HG Gundam Leopard Destroy.. yeah Destroy,just like the name. at first i was attracted by the long range armament, and it somehow remind me about my old Gunpla. (only to found out they are the same Gundam several years later) it came from the same brand as the old Leopard

most of the parts didn't survive the timeline,i didn't even remember when they start to lost..
dunno its a concidence or not, but both of the old Leopard and this Leopard Destroy left arm are freaking loose. it's a whole new level of factory problem (pictures taken when i wrote this blog)

this is the last bootleg gundam that i bought. After this, i was too focused to fix my low grade score and didn't pay any attention to the toys anymore .

In my last year of Grade school.. my school host the Open House event to attract more new student candidate.
There,Bandai come to our school and open their exhibition.. also with a Gunpla building event, where we the student should pay 20 thousand IDR for registration and 1 free Gunpla from Bandai.

Just when i thought "free gunpla from bandai!? how cool!" (/o.o)/

i guessed wether they would give an SD or HG series. Finally i could get my first "original Bandai Gunpla" thats what i thought.. but here's what i get:

a "Not for sale, only for promotion" Duel Gundam.. the joint are located only on head,shoulder,and thigh that connect them to the main body, and on the not so articulated feet. no joint on elbow and knee.. rather than action figure, it feels more like a moveable statue.

well.. maybe hoping for free Gunpla was my mistake in the first place.. (=_=")

Anyway during the event, i bought my first real Bandai Gunpla. This time it was real original from Bandai..

the price was kinda draining my grade schooler pocket money.

It was the Zapper Zaku, villain character from SD Gundam Force ("=w=) i watched the series every morning before i went to school, so i really knew this character just from a glance among the displayed (mostly HG) for sale Gunpla.

yeah,he is my first SD and original Bandai Gunpla.. can't hope for more because of my small budget.

if i remember correctly, he cost around 60 thousand IDR. That is 3 times of my bootleg Gunpla price, i learned to accept the reality of original Bandai Gunpla price, but the smooth plastic and the quality are make me think that it was worth the price.. 

Two years later,when i was already adapted on my Junior High School, i started to collect the original Bandai Gunpla, started from SD Sangokuden series (i'll post review about them later), before actually deciding to move to the real size Gunpla during my Senior High year
