my very first time to build Gunpla was when i was around 9 years old, i help my cousin build his (forgot the scale) Gundam X and it isn't properly build. the poor Gunpla ended abandoned because he put all of the rubber joint not on the proper place, so all of the the limb can't fit properly, even though i manage to place the sticker correctly.. we are too afraid of breaking the parts,if we pulled off the rubber joint with force.so.. R.I.P Gundam X
From the incident, i learn to properly follow the manual so that i didn't recklesly make a fatal mistake, and choose to work alone when building this kind of thing. i get my own Gunpla not too long after the Gundam X incident. my mother bought it from a local toys store during my 10th birthday. its a bootleg HG Gundam Leopard
really.. its very easy to find bootleg gundam on my country. And another incident occured! the parts was so hard to combine, and it took almost all of my strength just to properly assemble them, and the large gatling always fall off.. but this Gunpla manage to survive the timeline, although losing some of his parts, which mostly are a part that have a loose rubber joint (=.=")

notice the open cracks on the leg? they couldn't be pushed together more than that. You couldn't wished for a perfect model on bootleg product
around 12 years old, when i started to freely use my pocket money on large stuff. i meet my second gunpla. That was a bootleg of HG Lunamaria's Gunner Zaku Warrior and it cost around 20 thousand IDR on a toys store run by my friend's mother near my primary school.
i like to save most of my pocket money everyday during primary school,so i was able to easily get this dude.
It came from a different brand from the previous one

the colour are a bit off, compared to the original one. The rubber part are pretty strong to hold all of the parts. but the cool Orthros rifle foldable part are kinda loose, still it manage to hold properly when placed on the backpack
not too long after this, i bought a bootleg of Heine's HG Blaze Zaku Phantom (same brand as the Gunner one) which become my first Gunpla that have the most solid parts. This guy are able to properly stand, hold weapon, and the missile launcher did not use a rubber join.so they fit with the jetpack perfectly. There's no loose parts in this Gunpla
thus, two of this Zaku make me more confident on building Gunpla \(=w=)/
(continued on part 2)
