Figma 240 Kantai Collection Amatsukaze review

Still on Kancolle Figma \(=w=)/ this time its a 9th Ship of Japan's world war Kagerou-class Destroyer. the tsundere ship, Amatsukaze! 

Pre ordered her at online store that have a connection with Good Smile Company. She cost around 

IDR 600.000

Based on history, she is the test ship for a high-pressure boiler (try to google it)

which later was implemented to Shimakaze.

Since she is Shimakaze's prototype ship,so she can be counted as Shimakaze's senpai.

Lets start the review..

Box background was pink coloured,it really suited Amatsukaze's cute heart warming personality~ The rest of figma product image are still on the same position.

Moving to the figure..

Her hair are twin tailed and she wear one-piece brown clothes that are actually kinda transparent of you see her in-game artwork, She also wear a body-belt that actually passed through from her hat,neck, body,until they ended on the stocking.

Her small hat are based on a ship's chimney or smokestack.. don't know what is chimney? check my simple illustration below:

Amatsukaze figma come with an action stand base, three faceplate, extra love-shaped smoke hat, some exchangeable hand part, Quad Oxygen Torpedo launcher on her back, and a "Twin Gun Mount or Turret"  weapon called Rensouhou-kun.

Her tsundere expression was really cute (~>w<)~

Her lovely smile give more charm when you added her extra hat that have the love-shaped smoke, this is expression and smoke actually come from her second in-game artwork.

According to kancolle.wikia.com and her historical backgound, after getting shot by enemy torpedo, Amatsukaze was tough of too heavily damaged and would sunk soon, so her crew evacuated and abandoned her. But actually she was still survive and floating! a japanese patrol plane found her six days later and took het to get repaired..

Maybe this case show why she wear a serious expression on her first appearance,and smiling later when you leveled up and upgraded her enough on the game,showing sign that she started to warm up to the admiral (player).

Wel,enough about the history.. the love shaped smoke was kinda fragile,they should be treated gently during the part exchange.

"16th Destroyer Division Amatsukaze, set sail!"

"This is a nice wind.. commencing attack!"

Attack mode.. despite having a less weapon than Shimakaze,she still do a good damage on the game.

Hehehe,low angle pose.. Her Quad Oxygen Torpedo are articulated and can be putted off for non-combat pose

I forgot to show this side on Shimakaze Figma review.. (>.<") but after the Torpedo launcher was unequipped,the port hole can be used to plug in the Figma stand base.

Now let's look on her main weapon.. Rensouhou-kun! While Shimakaze called her turret Rensouhou-chan, Amatsukaze called her turret Rensouhou-kun. ( =w=) maybe Shimakaze's Rensouhou was female,and Amatsukaze's is a male?

Rensouhou-kun doesn't seen to have a leg (maybe its hidden?) and stay planted on the mini-boat with "ZeKaTsuMaA" katakana written on the side.This was actually Amatsukaze's name written backward..

At first i found difficulty on connecting Rensouhou-kun to Amatsukaze's waist,because there are no plug hole. But finally i found the hole by removing the small bolt on the mini-boat back.. lol i didn't read the Figma manual when unpacking Amatsukaze.. (stored the small bolt on figma magic bag)

This Rensouhou-kun added more party to these Turret family (/=w=)/

Together,they look so cute! not only the Turrets,Amatsukaze and Shimakaze looks really good when putted on together. Moe overload! \(>w<)/

Kancolle really become one of my favorite franchise, i'll try to collect as many figure as my budget can (lol..)
